| If you are a responsible freshwater aquarist who wants to know all about a particular species prior to purchasing it, then I highly recommend a series of books published by Tetra Press called Aquarium Atlas. The original volume -- I think there may be four to six volumes now -- has a picture of cardinal tetras on the front of it, with the words "Aquarium Atlas" in large text. Above that is the name "Baensch", for Hans A. Baensch, the German publisher of the book. This series of books is a bit on the technical side, but is very helpful when identifying different fish and aquatic plant species, and learning more about them. Regards,
